Text Only Lessons
Q: What is a text lesson?
A: A text lesson is communicating or learning with our tutor through text only.
Q: Can I speak with the tutor if I have a text lesson?
A: Unfortunately, you cannot speak with the tutor if you choose a text lesson. Please purchase a call lesson to speak with our tutor.
Q: What can I learn with a text lesson? Is it effective?
A: You can improve increase your vocabulary with a text lesson. You may also improve your spelling.
Each student has a different learning preference. Some students might not feel confident enough to start speaking yet, so this is a good way to start using English in your life.
Call Lessons
Q: What is a call lesson?
A: A call lesson is learning and communicating with our tutor through a voice call or video call. You can choose either of them.
Q: What if I don't know what to talk about with the tutor?
A: The tutor will prepare some topics and questions to ask and discuss with you.
Q: What if I'm late and miss the call from the tutor?
A: Please text the tutor to let us know that you are here and the tutor will connect with you again. Please do not call the tutor.
Q: If my camera or microphone for some reason doesn't work, how should I do the lesson?
A: If the technical problems happened are due to the student's device, you may have a text lesson, which will still be charged as a call lesson, or you can cancel the lesson, which will not be refunded. If the technical issue is found to be on the tutor's site, you can re-schedule the lesson. For any technical issues happened, please allow some troubleshooting time. Before making your decision either to continue as a text lesson or cancel the lesson.
Q: Can I request practice, such as job interview with the tutor?
A: We are sorry but that would be considered as other service. If you want to use the call lesson for purposes other than just leisure English learning, please contact us here or on Instagram and Facebook.


Other Services
Q: What other services do you provide?
A: We provide various kinds of services, even those that are not listed here, such as spell check and translation.
Q: Can I ask the tutor to check my business email?
A: Unfortunately, we forbid our tutor from checking any important documents such as contracts, business email, school homework etc., for our students. This is available to use for leisure purposes. For example, you would like to know how to say a sentence/paragraph in a book you read in English, we can help you translate. If you use a sentence we translate in a formal occasion, for example, a business meeting, we are not responsible for the consequences.
Q: Can I use this service to learn other languages?
A: We are sorry but you may not. If you wish to learn other languages, please contact us here or on Instagram and Facebook and we will see if we can manage that for you.
Q: Is this a text lesson or phone call lesson?
A: It depends on what you would like us to help you with? If it's translation or spell check, it will be neither, so you will not interact with the tutor in anyway. If you want to practice your job interview, it will be better through calls. The price will be calculated as other services instead of call lessons.
Q: Can I ask the tutor to check my introduction and answers for a job interview?
A: Unfortunately, same as important documents, we cannot check whether your answers are suitable for the job interviews or not as it might be crucial for your life. Even if you want to practice a job interview with a tutor, we do not take responsibility for the outcome of your actual interview and we prohibit our tutor from giving comments such as "I think you should answer...." or "I think you can get this job with your answers".
Q: How is the tuition charged if there are so many different ways to request for this service?
A: Each service you request will be charged one at a time. Please contact us here or on Instagram and Facebook about the service you wish to have and we will give you a quote. For example, in your email/message, please include what you would like us to help with and if it's translation or spell check, please include how many words there are as well, you will tell you how much it will be before charging you for the service.
